It is with great pleasure to officially announce the formation and Inaugural Season of the Clarksburg Symphony Orchestra, Inc.
The CSO will serve Clarksburg and surrounding areas of northcentral West Virginia by bringing a vast array of musical exposure to the public. Musical variety will include selections ranging from classical, patriotic, pop and music indigenous to state heritage.
People who have limited exposure to music will have opportunities to learn about orchestral music. This orchestra hopes to foster family relationships and help inspire community development.
Several artistic programs are in the works:
Family friendly subscription series
Chamber Group Concerts for the public, nursing homes, and medical
facilities
Programs to reach citizens with special needs
Artist in Residence
Educational Concerts
Social and Ceremonial functions
