- A museum with a mission to share the diverse and rich heritage of glass as a product and historical object as well as telling of the lives of glass workers, their families and communities, and of the tools and machines they used in glass houses. With a focus in time of 1900-1940, when production of American handmade glass boomed and pieces graced millions of tables, WVMAG, Ltd. Includes all glass products...from bottles to lightning rod balls, from telegraph insulators to glass used in automobiles, from pressed to blown tableware.

- Located in the Historic Colored School of Weston, we welcome you to come and experience some of the United States Militaries greatest moments at the new museum. Operated by the local American Legion, you can see the history through their eyes and almost relive it. Our exhibits cover your military history locally as well as abroad.

- The Library and Center for Study stores and records the genealogical history of the Hackers Creek area in Lewis and surrounding counties. Visitors are welcome to research WV roots, listen to stories, or just read a book on the history of our area.
Jacksons Mill Historic Area
- The boyhood home of General Thomas J. Stonewall Jackson, this Historic District includes the Jackson Family Mill Museum, the Blaker Grist Mill, McWhorter Cabin and the Mary Conrad Cabin. Open Memorial Day-Labor Day 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Open on weekends early May-early October; closed Mondays. Jacksons Mill is located 2 miles from US Route 19 between Jane Lew and Weston, off I-79 on exit 99. One of the most famous generals of he American Civil Ware (1861-1865), Thomas Jonathon Jackson served under Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

- Formerly known as the Weston State Hospital, this West Virginia facility served as a sanctuary for the mentally ill in the mid-1800's. The history of the building holds fascinating stories of Civil War raids, a gold robbery, the "curative " effects of architecture, and the efforts of determined individuals to help better the lives of the mentally ill. Tour this nationally recognized landmark and see how it left a lasting impression on local and national history.
